Dear Parents and Carers,

I am writing to explain how Nugent House School is responding to the COVID 19 national lockdown that begins on Thursday 5th November.

In line with Government guidance, Nugent House School will remain open to all students and will continue to operate in our current “bubbles”. This means that all students will still be able to access their full educational provision.

Your child’s learning mentor will be contacting you by telephone before Thursday to answer any questions or queries you may have so please do use this opportunity to seek any support and guidance you may need.

As these unprecedented and challenging times continue for us all, I would like to pay tribute to my talented and committed staff for the work they are doing every day to ensure all our bubbles remain safe and happy places where our students can learn and develop. I would also like to thank you for continuing to work so positively with us in such extreme circumstances. I remain committed to keeping you regularly updated with any changes here in school and urge you to contact school whenever you need to. In the meantime, stay safe, warm and well as we continue to work together to support each other.

Yours,

Sarah E Gregory

Headteacher
