The school is ultimately accountable to Nugent Care 2019 as the corporate trustee and the Local Advisory Board is an advisory body.
Nugent works to a Trust Deed that vests powers and responsibilities in the Trustees of the Charity (Nugent Care 2019) that cannot be delegated.
The Trustees have always welcomed and valued the input of skills, experience and expertise of Advisors in assisting them in making decisions and has consequently set up a School Governing Body for this school.
The role is set out in the Terms of Reference for Nugent House School Local Advisory. They are welcomed as advisors to support the School, Head Teacher and the charity.
