Nugent House School and Children’s Homes Safeguarding policy has been developed in accordance with the principles established by the Children Act 1989 and 2004, and in line with the following:

  The Governing Body takes seriously its responsibility under all of the above legislation and guidance to safeguard 3 and promote the welfare of children, and to work together with other agencies to ensure adequate arrangements within our school to identify, assess, and support those children who are suffering harm. Any identified deficiencies or weaknesses in child protection arrangements will be remedied immediately.
